Chrillo Labs builds interactive IT certification training around one idea: you learn troubleshooting by troubleshooting.
What we build
Many certification exams include performance-based questions, tasks where you must configure, diagnose or repair something rather than pick a multiple-choice answer. Reading about those tasks is not the same as doing them. Chrillo Labs recreates them as interactive simulations: equipment you can inspect, cables you can move, settings you can change, and results that are scored by fixed rules.
How the simulations are designed
- Technically accurate first. Each exercise is built around a real skill from the exam objectives, and small exercises stay small.
- Deterministic scoring. The same actions always earn the same score. Practice and Exam score identically.
- No credit for doing nothing. A scenario that starts broken scores zero until you fix something.
- Practice supports you, Exam does not. Hints and the Smart Walkthrough appear only in Practice.
- One fictional world. Every scenario happens at the fictional Chrillo Labs company, with fictional equipment, so nothing depends on a real vendor's product.
Where it stands
The A+ Core 1 catalog of 50 simulations is complete. A+ Core 2, Network+ and Security+ are planned and not yet available. Chrillo Labs is an independent product and is not affiliated with CompTIA.
